Balclutha Primary School was established to provide the best possible education for children from year 0 to year 8 in a community environment.
In achieving this purpose, the school aims for much more than narrow academic schooling. Balclutha Primary School aims to focus on the total formation of every one of its students, nurturing the development of their talents and abilities and catering for each child’s individual needs and differences.
Balclutha Primary School exists to provide an education that encourages core values within a supportive community.
The focus of the Board of Trustees is to have the school achieving the highest standards of authentic best practise. To do this, there must be a clear focus on ensuring that all facets of the school’s educational processes and school culture are working together.
